Moura DuBeux
Welcome to Moura DuBeux!
In the heart of Recife, a new space is taking shape. Novo Cais, led by Moura Dubeux in partnership with the City Hall, IPHAN, and SPU, represents one of the city's most significant urban transformations.
Spanning approximately 150,000 m² in the area of the former Cais José Estelita and with an estimated investment between R$140 and R$150 million, the project goes far beyond real estate development:
it is a movement to reconnect the city with its history and future.
Novo Cais returns nearly 65% of the area to the city in the form of open public spaces, parks, bike lanes, and wide sidewalks — all integrated with restored buildings and a new urban grid designed with people in mind.
A new landmark for Recife in terms of urbanism, sustainability, and legacy.
For this major launch, we delivered immersive and technological solutions that presented the future of Novo Cais in an innovative way.
The highlight of the space was the immersive cinema, designed to transport visitors inside the development through a curved LED screen that surrounds the audience, creating the real sensation of walking through the complex.
The experience was enhanced with sensory effects, such as wind and rain, and 360° sound design, offering a fully immersive experience and reinforcing the project’s core message: connecting city, people, and future.
Another standout feature was the 17-meter-long physical scale model, equipped with automated lighting controlled by a touchscreen.
Each point selected on the digital map triggered a corresponding light on the physical model, making it easy to understand the project and highlighting roads, bike paths, landmarks, and lots available for sale.
This solution provided a clear, interactive, and intuitive understanding of the scale and urban integration of Novo Cais.
